Hi, my name is Theresa Murgola and I am excited to have the opportunity to work with you! I am a Licensed Professional Counselor with a Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from John Carroll University. I recognize that we all face challenges in life and sometimes we need someone to walk with us in those challenges to provide support and ask questions that help us regain our power. While I have a particular love for working with teens, young adults, and couples, I have a great deal of experience working with children and families as well. I help clients grow through a variety of issues including life transitions, anxiety, depression, grief, sleep problems, relationship problems, anger issues, social and family conflict, and self-esteem. I always try to be flexible and adapt my approach to the needs of each individual client in that particular moment (you are the expert on you, after all!), but tend to draw most from narrative, CBT, ACT, DBT, and Motivational Interviewing approaches. I love to harness each client’s individual strengths and interests including music, spirituality, reading, creative writing, anime, and video games to help identify your values and goals.
